Plumb Quick Company – Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: August 30, 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the Plumb Quick Company website and, where applicable, plumbing services provided by Plumb Quick. Specific estimates, proposals, work orders, invoices, contracts, warranties, financing agreements, and other written agreements may contain additional or different terms. In the event of a conflict, the terms of the applicable written agreement governing the specific work will control.

1. Estimates, Scope of Work & Authorization

Estimates and proposals are based on information reasonably available at the time of inspection and the conditions that can be observed or identified before work begins.

Plumb Quick proposes to furnish the labor and materials necessary to complete the approved scope of work unless otherwise stated in the estimate or proposal.

Additional work required because of concealed conditions, previously unknown damage, code requirements, inaccessible piping, customer-requested changes, or conditions discovered after work begins may require additional authorization and charges.

Customer agrees that estimates, proposals, work orders, invoices, photographs, videos, text messages, emails, electronic communications, and electronic signatures may be used as evidence of authorization to perform work, acceptance of services, and agreement to pay applicable labor, material, and related charges.

2. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Any invoice not paid within thirty (30) days of the invoice date is considered past due and may accrue a finance charge at the rate of ten percent (10%) per annum on the unpaid balance, or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is less.

Customer agrees to pay applicable costs incurred by Plumb Quick in collecting unpaid balances, including reasonable attorney's fees, court costs, lien filing fees, collection agency fees, and other collection costs.

Returned checks, chargebacks, and disputed credit card transactions determined to be valid charges may be subject to a $35 administrative fee in addition to applicable bank fees and collection costs.

3. Access, Dust, Debris & Property Protection

Plumb Quick will take reasonable measures to contain dust and debris associated with plumbing work. However, construction and repair work may generate dust or debris that escapes the immediate work area.

Customers are responsible for removing or protecting personal property, valuables, furniture, and other items that could be affected by the work.

Unless specifically included in the approved scope of work, repair or restoration of drywall, flooring, brick, concrete, tile, cabinetry, landscaping, and other surfaces damaged or removed as necessary to access plumbing systems is the customer's responsibility.

4. Drain & Sewer Line Repairs and Replacements

The complete condition of a sewer or drain system may not always be visible or inspectable before repairs begin.

If Plumb Quick cannot fully inspect a sewer line because of its condition, Plumb Quick may repair the section believed to be causing the restriction and then attempt to inspect the remainder of the system.

If additional problems are discovered, Plumb Quick may provide an updated proposal for additional work.

If the customer elects not to proceed with recommended additional work, the customer authorizes Plumb Quick to complete only the originally approved scope, backfill applicable excavations, and close the work area.

Declining recommended additional repairs may limit Plumb Quick's ability to obtain certain inspections, completely test the system, or provide warranty coverage beyond the work actually performed.

Unless otherwise specified, estimates for sewer and vent work are based on Schedule 40 PVC systems.

Existing fixtures removed and reset as part of the work are not warranted against pre-existing defects or failures unless specifically included in the scope. Repairs required to existing fixtures may be billed separately.

5. Excavation & Tunneling

Underground conditions are estimated based upon available information and visual inspection.

Additional charges may apply when unforeseen conditions are encountered, including rock, bedrock, groundwater, buried concrete, excessive roots, abandoned utilities, buried debris, undocumented structures, unsuitable soil, or other concealed conditions.

Unless specifically included in the scope of work, Plumb Quick is not responsible for the removal, replacement, or repair of trees, landscaping, irrigation systems, fencing, rocks, sidewalks, driveways, patios, retaining walls, floor coverings, or other improvements affected by access or excavation.

Plumb Quick is not responsible for damage to unmarked or improperly marked public or private utilities, irrigation systems, communication lines, or underground structures that were not disclosed or reasonably visible before excavation.

Customers are responsible for providing required property access, easements, rights-of-way, surveys, utility information, and approvals necessary to perform the work.

Unless otherwise stated, excavated areas will be backfilled using previously removed soil and rough graded. Settlement after excavation is normal and expected. Subsequent grading, landscaping, sod replacement, or settlement correction is the customer's responsibility unless specifically included in the scope of work.

Foundation penetrations, excavation, tunneling, trenching, or backfilling may affect existing structures or third-party foundation warranties. Plumb Quick does not warrant pre-existing structural conditions or third-party foundation warranties.

6. Gas Systems & Appliances

Turning off, testing, or restarting a gas system can expose pre-existing problems with connected appliances or components.

Unless specifically included in the approved scope of work, Plumb Quick is not responsible for repairing appliances that fail or require service following a gas shutoff or restart.

7. Limited Plumbing Warranty

All warranty work must be performed by Plumb Quick.

Warranty coverage does not apply to damage or failure caused by conditions outside Plumb Quick's control, including building or foundation movement, improper use, customer modifications, third-party work, or manufacturer defects.

Customers must notify Plumb Quick promptly after discovering a potential installation or repair issue and take reasonable measures to prevent additional damage.

Damage resulting from delayed notification or failure to take reasonable damage-control measures is the customer's responsibility.

For manufacturer defects requiring correction, replacement, or repair, customer may be responsible for labor charges at the then-applicable rate. The current HCP terms specify $175 per hour.

8. Repair & Installation Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable estimate, invoice, or written agreement, Plumb Quick provides a 90-day workmanship and material warranty on repairs and installation of plumbing systems or fixtures.

9. Customer-Provided Fixtures & Materials

Plumb Quick provides no product or fixture warranty on materials, equipment, or fixtures supplied by the customer.

10. Drain Cleaning

No warranty is provided on drain-cleaning services.

Plumb Quick will demonstrate that the line is clear and draining properly before the technician leaves when reasonably possible. Recurring stoppages may indicate an underlying condition requiring additional investigation or repair.

11. Drain Line Repair Warranty

Drain line repairs carry a limited transferable one-year warranty unless otherwise stated.

Coverage applies only to the section of pipe repaired or replaced and to stoppages attributable to Plumb Quick's materials or workmanship.

Coverage does not include stoppages caused by wipes, feminine products, towelettes, foreign objects, or materials other than toilet paper, nor stoppages originating on the municipal side of the system.

Foundation movement or mud-jacking may void warranty coverage. Where foundation work is performed, hydrostatic testing by Plumb Quick before and after the foundation work is required to maintain applicable warranty coverage and is an additional charge.

12. Drain Line Replacement Warranty

Drain line replacements carry a limited transferable two-year warranty unless otherwise stated.

Coverage applies to stoppages resulting from Plumb Quick's materials or workmanship. Exclusions include improper materials introduced into the drain system, municipal-side stoppages, foundation movement, mud-jacking, and other conditions described in the applicable project documentation.

13. Water & Gas Line Warranties

Water/Gas Line Repairs: Limited transferable one-year warranty applicable only to the section repaired or replaced.

Water/Gas Line Replacements: Limited transferable two-year warranty applicable only to the section repaired or replaced.

Foundation movement or mud-jacking may void applicable warranty coverage. Hydrostatic or gas testing performed by Plumb Quick before and after foundation work is required to maintain applicable warranty coverage and is an additional charge.

14. Commercial Work

Commercial customers agree that Plumb Quick may exercise mechanic's lien, bond claim, and other remedies available under Texas law for unpaid labor, materials, equipment, permits, subcontractors, and services furnished.

Payment applications, invoices, and approved change orders that are not paid according to agreed terms may be subject to collection proceedings.

Retainage must be specifically agreed to in writing before commencement of work.

Commercial projects may also be governed by separate contracts, purchase orders, subcontract agreements, change orders, payment schedules, or other project-specific documents.

15. Financing

Financing options offered through Plumb Quick may be provided by independent third-party financing companies. Approval, available terms, interest rates, payment schedules, and other financing conditions are determined by the applicable financing provider and are subject to its separate terms and conditions.

16. Website Information

Information provided on this website is intended for general informational purposes and does not constitute a plumbing diagnosis, inspection, estimate, engineering opinion, or guarantee that a particular service or solution is appropriate for a specific property.

A plumbing professional must evaluate the actual conditions at the property before Plumb Quick can determine the appropriate scope of work.
